Work Ops is for work that currently lives in a chat
If status is a WhatsApp message and handover is a phone call, you need a list with an owner — not a developer project tool.

The short answer
If open work is invisible unless you ask, start with Work Ops. It is assignments, status and a trail of what changed. It is not Jira for a factory, and it is not a full ERP.
The problem we see
Operations run in a group chat. Someone says “done.” The next person cannot see the trail. When the owner is away, the list exists only in one phone. Buying a developer tool does not fix that. Staff will not maintain boards they do not understand.
A logistics or internal team usually needs: who owns it, what is open today, what happened last. Godavari Logistics needed working tools for how the operation already moved, not a generic suite. Your jobs will differ. The test does not: can the next person pick up without a call?
When a chat is still enough
Keep WhatsApp when the team is two people, the jobs are short, and the owner is in the chat all day. Software becomes useful when handover fails, when repeating jobs are reinvented each time, or when you cannot answer “what is open?” without a meeting.
Automation comes after the list is used. Wiring reminders into a process nobody records only multiplies noise. That work, when it is real, sits under business process automation.
What to do next
For one week, write every open job on a shared sheet: owner, next step, done or not. If the team fills it, Work Ops will probably stick. If they will not fill a sheet, they will not fill a system either.
